Hall will return to Civilian life effective April i t tafter after spending the past eight years as Civil Defense director for Uintah County Mr Hall retired as a Lt Colin Col in August of 1963 from the United States Air Force after serving a stint of 22 years He lie arrived shortly before the death of Bernell Speed Haws flaws who was civil defense director at that time The Uintah County Commission asked Mr Hall if he would fill the position temporarily I thought Id I'd take it for six months and here I eight ama y years years ars- ars r later ter's l D BUT HUT I IIA HAVE VE enjoyed very much my iny my asso association f tI n with wilh the county officers continued Mr tr Hall and have obtained a better understanding of county government I have been ably assisted by secretaries Billie Dawn Gardner Johnson Amy Pope and Jeanne Reynolds Allred They have been outstanding out standing employees Speaking of civil defense Mr H said that he firmly believed the head of each household should be responsible for their own family If they'll do that then older people nursing homes hospitals etc can be concentrated on by civil defense in case of emergency stated David Mr Hall will be replaced by Jess M M. Miller who is also Uintah County Zoning Administrator Ad and will continue in that capacity from the Civil r DA DAVID vie B.
