Show ! LOCAL NOTES j A personal shnwpr in honor of Alta Thorne was given by ReNee Johnston at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Johnston Saturday evening, March 1st. Guests were Mrs. Silas Thorne. Mrs. R. L. Cunliffe, Joyce Wells, Mrs. Frances Stokes, Marlene Diederich, Margcne Barlow, Lois McCormick, Darlene Johnson, Mrs. Virginia Oneida, Valeta Ne-vers, Ne-vers, Mrs. Johnston, the honoree and hostess. Bingo bridge was played and all received prizes. Decorations followed a bridal theme and favors were miniature brides. The honoree received many lovely gifts. Dainty light refreshments were served. Dr. Philip G. Fulstow is leaving leav-ing soon for Kanab, Utah, where he will enter in private practice. Mrs. Earl Rager was hostess to twelve members of No. 1 Firemen's Fire-men's auxiliary Monday night. Winning prizes at bridge were Mrs. Lottie Rawlings, first; Mrs. Jack Householder Jr., second, and Mrs. ' Irvin Stillman consolation. conso-lation. Delicious refreshments were served. J ' Mr. and Mrs. Anthon O. Jacob-son Jacob-son entertained after the Bingham-Tooele basketball game last Friday evening for Mr. and Mrs, J. L. Murano, Mr. and Mrs.. Ross M. Cushing and Mr. and Mrs. George Badovinatz. Mrs. Bob Williams and Shannon Shan-non Robinett left this week- for a visit to San Francisco, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Oswald, Mayor and Mrs. C. A. Morley, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean K. Swaner of Farmington attended the Mardi, Gras Carnival dance at Westminster College on Saturday Sat-urday evening. Maurine Morley, chairman of the German booth, received second prize for the artistic ar-tistic decorations and supervision supervis-ion of the booth. A gay and happy hap-py carnival time was enjoyed by the large crowd attending. |
