Show NOTE FROM AN ELDER. A brief communication from Elder Andrew McCombs, of Trenton, now on a mission to the Southern States, dated Aug. 16th, informs us that he was then at Baird's Mills, Wilson county, Tenn. He receives the Journal, which affords him much pleasure. The work in that region is in a prosperous condition. He was with a branch numbering 37 members, and one priest, all of whom felt well in the truth. A marked spirit of inquiry is being manifested. Good prospects open up to the Elders in that field, and they all feel well. |
