Show MUSIC RECEIVED. We acknowledge the receipt from D. O. Calder, music dealer, Salt Lake city, of a package of sheet music containing the following popular pieces. "What will Jack say" a contralto or baritone song quite easy and pretty; "No Word of Welcome" an easy piece in four flats, of a beautiful sentiment, "Out On the Rocks," a song for alto, baritone or bass, having for its theme the tender passion, "Blue Alsatian Mountains", not new, but a very beautiful song and melody, "Let Me Dream Again," a song for soprano or tenor, in three flats, "Baby's Lullaby," a very popular piece in C, of which over 10,000 copies have been sold; "Barney McCoy, or I Am Going Away Norah Darling" a characteristic Irish song; "Our Happy Cottage Home" a song of beautiful words set to a beautiful melody, written in C. Included in the package was No. 3 of Vol. ?? of the "Monthly Review," a periodical devoted to reviewing books and music published by D. O. Calder Salt Lake City, Utah. The present number contains several beautiful pieces of music, both vocal and instrumental. |
