Show DISLOCATIONS. Late on Wednesday evening last, Dr. Ormsby was called upon to attend to a boy about 10 years old, son of James Wray of Hyrum, who had on that day fallen from a load of hay, dislocating an elbow, and slightly fracturing one of the bones. On the same day the doctor attended to a severe injury received by a young man living in the first ward named William Brown, son of our well known townsman, J. H. Brown, the stone worker. The young man fell from a load of hay, dislocating one of his ancles [ankles] and fracturing some of the bones. The injury is serious and will produce a permanent deformity, more or less slight, of the ancle [ankle] joint. "Will" is a steady, good-natured and much respected young man, and we sincerely regret his misfortune. |
