Show Diphtheria is a disease that should be as vigorously quarantined as any other. NO person whose presence is not necessary should be allowed access to the patient, and the funerals of diseased patients should be conducted with every precaution against spreading the disease. Citizens having the disease in their houses should out of consideration for the lives of others, willingly submit to every precaution necessary to prevent the spread and we respectfully suggest to the proper authorities, the necessity of stringency in taking measures to keep the disease from spreading. The license heretofore charged the Dramatic Club has been $5 for each performances, but they have taken out a quarterly license entitling them to play as often as they wish, for which the city has charged them $25 on condition that the club furnishes its own police to keep order in the theatre, and save the city the expense of so doing. On Monday last S?? C. O. Card sent two ox teams of two yoke each and three horse and mule teams up Logan canyon to break the road as far as Temple Mill, and to return from there with Lumber. The teams were successful in getting through, and on Wednesday returned loaded with lumber. The road is now open to Temple Mill. The next performance by the Dramatic club, takes place tomorrow(Saturday) evening, when will be presented the romantic [line unreadable] ?esting drama "The [line unreadable] and the laughable [line unreadable] economy.".
