Show RELIABLE TESTIMONY. Where testimonies give the residence of the parties it is an easy matter for any person to verify them. Thousands of people from all parts of the Pacific Coast can and have expressed the opinion that there is no other article in the world equal to Phosphate Soap for common toilet use. A great many people have tested this soap for skin diseases. Among others we give the following from parties who have thoroughly tested Phosphate Soap. Oakland, Cal. [California], April ?, 1880. Standard Soap Company - Gents. Some two or three months ago, I had a boy about two years old that had suffered for a year with sever eruptions in the head and face, caused by teething. The child was in such misery that it would often be awakened out of sleep by the severe itching. He would then scratch his head and face until the blood ran from the scabs. We used everything we could find, but nothing seemed to give any permanent relief until we tried Phosphate Soap. Before we had used one case?, the child's head and face were entirely healed, and there has been no appearance of the disease since. Michael Kane, No. ??? Kirkham St. Fort Verde, Arizona, Dec. 12, 1879. Standard Soap Company - Gents. Having received your box of Phosphate Soap, and having used only one cake of Soap out of the three, I am happy to say that it has completely cured my sore eyelids which was caused by the alkali dust in Idaho Territory, in 1877, and have ??? more ever since until I used Phosphate Soap. Corporal Dennis Rurke, Twelfth Infantry. San Francisco, November 27, 1879. Standard Soap Company. - Gents: After a number of trials of Soaps, I have learned that Phosphate is certainly the very best for shaving. I thank you for its introduction. James P. Arthur. AROUND THE WORLD. A fame that is world-wide and acquired in the short space of a few years, must have true merit for its support. Dr. Pierce's Family Medicines have gained such fame and the foreign orders his Golden Medical Discover - the greatest blood-purifier of the age, for his Pleasant Purgative Pellets (little sugar-coated pills), his Favorite Prescription - woman's best friend - and other remedies became so great, that a branch of the World's Dispensary has been established in London, England, for their manufacture. From this depot they are shipped to every part of Europe, and to the East Indies, China, Japan, and other countries. Their sale in both North and South America is perfectly enormous and increases yearly. World's? Dispensary Medical Association Proprietors, Buffalo, N.Y. [New York] and great Russell Street Buildings, London, Eng. [England]. Royal Centre, Cuss Co., Ind. [Indiana], Feb. [February] 28th, 1870. Dr. R.V. Pierce: Dear Sir - I take pleasure in writing my testimony with others in regard to your valuable medicine. For a long time I have suffered from disease of the lungs and until I used your Discover found nothing that did me any good. Thanks to it, I am relieved and recommend it to all. Yours truly, Mary Kennel. A MIRACULOUS CURE. Occidental Hotel, Santa Rosa, G.A. Tupper, Proprietor, April 20th, 1880. I have been troubled many years with disease of the Kidneys and have tried many different remedies; sought aid from different Physicians without relief. About the 15th of April, I was suffering from a very violent attack, that almost prostrated me, in such a manner that I was bent over, when I sat down it was almost impossible for me to get up alone or put on my clothes, when kind providence sent Dr. Wm. [William] Henley with the "Oregon Kidney Tea" to my hotel. I immediately commenced using the Tea. It has almost a miraculous effect, and to the astonishment of all the guests at the hotel, in a few days, I am happy to state, I was a new man. I will recommend the "Oregon Kidney Tea" to all afflicted as I have been. G.A. Tupper, Prop'r [Proprietor], Occidental Hotel. We the undersigned, witness the above to be a fact. C.E. Ward, Manager Sluger Manufacturing Co. [Company]. Walter H. Byington, ??????. CONSUMPTION CURED. A few months ago and eminent physician who had tested the remarkable curative qualities of Phosphate Soap for various skin diseases expressed his belief that it would be an excellent remedy for Poison Oak. It was according tested for this purpose. A boy had been so badly poisoned as to be confined to his for a week, and had his hands all covered with sores when he began to use Phosphate Soap. Within Twenty-four hours he was greatly relieved and in a few days he was entirely cured of Poison Oak by the use of Phosphate Soap. "A young friend of mine was cured of an insatiable thirst for Liquor, which had so prostrated him that he was unable to do any business. He was entirely cured by the use of Hop Bitters. It allayed all that burning thirst; took away the appetite for liquor, made his nerves steady, and he has remained a sober and steady man for more than two years, and has no desire to return to his cups; I know of a number of others that have been cured of drinking by it." - From a leading ???
