Show keeping pace with neighboring counties? If The Union is discontinued, all tho count, tho city, and some other advertising will have, to 'be done in soma other paper and the money expended for the same will go out of our county. Now then, if wo can receive the names of 700 persons who will pay their $1.50 in Cash, or other pay at Cash rates, upon receipt of the first copy of Volume Eleven, and, a guarantee from the business men und merchants that we shall have a respectable - advertising patronage, then we will consent to( run The Union another year and add another column to each page, making it a live column instead of a 4 col urn i paper. Postmasters and others can materially ma-terially aid the cause by receiving the names and forwarding to this office hihI if we continue The Union, we will allow them a commission of 10 p?r cent on lists from 10 down; 15 per cent for clubs of 11 , to 20; and 20 per cent on clubs over 20 in number, but if we do not receive a list large enough to guarantee our continuing, we will say "thank you" for ydur trouble.
