Children in the Community House kindergarten helped Nicky Rakich celebrate his sixth birth-day Tuesday, March 20. Nicky brought a special treat to share with his classmates. Easter baskets and colored eggs hold the attention of the Qommunity House kindergarten this week in their preparations for a happy celebration, A fine series of Lenten ser-vices has been held at the Com-munity House during library and gym nights when the boys and girls paused for a short wor-ship service to remind them of this holy season. Thursday evening the Com-munity House church held a ser-vice of Holy Communion the Last Supper Jesus held with his disciples during Holy Week. A Sunday visitor at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Hawkins and fam-ily was Mrs. H. A. Thomas, for-merly of Sioux Falls, South Dak. who was enroute to Arcadia, Calif., to make her home. Friday visitors at the home of Mr. and 'Mrs. Clarence Bullock were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cald-well, Mr. .and Mrs. Berzelle Bul-lock and daughter Kayla, and Ira uMoss. ' Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Pino of Salt Lake City Wed-nesday were Lucille Pazcll. Kath leen King and Olga Chanak. ' Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mandorlich of Midvale and Katie of Montoya Bingham were Monday after-noon visitors of Mrs. Matt Pazell and family. Highland Boy had a very successful meeting which was held Monday night at 7:30. Twenty six parents were pres-- ! ent and something special is in store for the fifth grade as they had the most parents present. Two picture shows were present ed, "Three Can Serve" and the "March of Time". Mrs. Nona Carrigan of Copperton was guest speaker. Refreshments were ser-ved. Nicky Rakich entertained on his sixth birthday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rakich. Games were played and refreshments served. Present were Nick Yengich, Anthony and Marie Antoinette Yengich, Jim-my and Henry Keysaw, Bobby Cochran, Johnny Balich, Joseph Scorzato, Judy Osoro, Ray Smith, Johnny Eresurria, Rudy and 'Man-uel Gallegos, Pete and Theresa Stalliviere of Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Boyce of Ogden were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rakich Sunday. On Friday, March 16, Margaret Anno was honored with a party to celebrate her tenth birthday at the home of her parents, 'Mr. and Mrs. James Anno. The ev-ening was spent playing games, after which a delightful lunch-eon was served. Harry Gardikis who was suf-fering from a heart attack and is in St. Mark's hospital, Salt Lake City, was reported to be recovering. Mrs. Lester Jackson and chil-dren of Las Vegas, Nev., are vis-iting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gardikis. Norma and Valeto Nevers of Copperton were Tuesday over-night guests of Louise Miller. John Pantalone returned home Monday from St. Mark's hospital where he was being treated for injuries received from a fall at Kennecott open pit mine last Tuesday. He is reported to be recovering nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Miller visited in Fairvioew Saturday.
