Show RED CROSS DRIVE NEARING END With just one more week to go In the 1951 Red Cross Fund drive, J. Lynn Booth, chairman of the Bingham area, is- calling on everyone who has not contributed con-tributed to do his share in putting put-ting the campaign over the top. The unofficial war in Korea, the stepped-up Civil defense program pro-gram which means training of thousands of first aid workers and nurses and establishment of a blood bank in this area are only part of the stepped-up activities ac-tivities that will require more money and more effort. "Hundreds of workers are giving giv-ing hours and hours of time to the cause. The rest of us may not have the time to devote to this humanitarian effort, but we can support the drive with our donations," do-nations," points' out Mr. Booth. "That's the least we can do for a cause that is doing so much good." The campaign opened March 1 and will close March 31. Mr. Booth reports that "a major part of the local quota already has been subscribed and that support sup-port by those who have not contributed con-tributed will put the drive over. Donations to date have averaged over the donations of last year to meet the increased quota. Lets all help with this last week's push to put Bingham in the 'We l Did Our Part' Column." |
