Mrs. James Hill of Portland, Ore., is visiting with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sturgill and sons. Mrs. Hill is here to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Dan Higby. Mrs. Daisy Draper and Ralph Draper and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Norman and children of Orcm were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cowdell of Copperton. Niners club met at the home of Betty Curtis on Monday, March 19. Canasta was played and prizes were won by Minnie Leatherwood and Catherine Montoya. Edwards and Kay Labrum of Roosevelt visited Friday, Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson and family. Mrs. John Greene entertained Tuesday, March 20, at a lovely birthday party in honor of her aaugnxer Suzanne on ner tilth birthday. Guests were Jimmy Granquist, Linda and David Abplanalp, Ab-planalp, Christine Johnson, Ruth Claire Kidd and Pauline Slotte. Individual Easter basket lunches were served and rabbits and horns were favors. Suzanne received re-ceived many lovely gifts. o |
