Show Measles. A notice has been issued, (but not published in the Union, as it should have been; Editor) Ed-itor) stating that Frederic Oiift, M. )., has been appointed Quarantine Quar-antine Physician. The City Ordi-nce Ordi-nce requires physicians, nurses-heads nurses-heads of families to give immediate immedi-ate notice of any case to the M ayor, Edward M. Brown or to the Qaar-antine Qaar-antine Physician. They forbid the mingling of thpse liable to communicate the disease, with these not affected and render all who do not, liable to a penalty of $100.00 fine, or imprisonment. We advise our readers to study section 77 to 84 of the Revised Ordinances and in their own interest to give the v roper notices, and to avoid all houses whare'the yellow flag is displayed. In any case where there has been exposure or there is a suspicious sickness, children should be kept out of school,, and special care should be taken in regard re-gard to our Indian neighbors. We understand the house at Dodge's spring has been quarantined quaran-tined to-day. Middleton. The cases of measles meas-les in this section of our city are on the improve and no deaths have yet occured, |
