Show Duchesne Locals M. . D. Morrison returned Monday from a trip to Salt Lake. Mrs. V. J. Duke visited with friends In Vernal on Saturday. Mrs. ' Jesse Johnston was a visitor in Vernal Friday. Mr. and Mrs. C T. Axelgard and boys came over from Price to visit with old friends here. W. A. Pax ton made ft hurried visit to Salt Lake City Saturday on business, busi-ness, returning on Sunday. r - Mr. and Mrs. Orville Goff of Tooele spent Monday visiting with Mr. Goffs parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ileber Goff. W. A. Fnxton, county superintendent superintend-ent of schools, spent Monday Inspecting Inspect-ing the schools at Mt. Emmons. Wm. II. Case and daughter, Frances, spent the week end with relatives at Mt. Emmons. o Fern Murray, who has sient her va-. va-. cation with friends in Tooele returned to Duchesne on Sunday. Mr. White left some time ago and Mrs. White will leave In a few days. Mrs. John Thorsen of Bluebell has been a visitor for several days of her eister, Mrs. Melvln Uroadhead of Upper Up-per Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. B. W. O'Toole gave a dinner party Sunday to the following guests: Mr. and Mtrs. E. W. Crocker, Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Smith, Mrs. II. M. Tope and Dr. Seward White. Mr. and Mrs. Lowe Ashton, Clarence Clar-ence and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Ashton and ,Mrs, Iyeslie Ashton left Tuesday for Salt Lake where they will visit with Leslie Ashton before his departure for California. : (Mrs. W. The decora tains and costumes were In keeping with the Hallowe'en season and all the students enjoyed a delightful evening. o The Seagull Girls of the Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association gave a Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en Oiaracter party in, the Hall Monday evening. The hall was beautifully beau-tifully decorated in Hallowe'en colors and all members of the class enjoyed a most delightful evening. Jesse Johnstun and Miss Alice Todd, members of the Duchesne Du-chesne Business and Prefesslonal Women's Wo-men's Club, accompanied by members of the Roosevelt and Vernal clubs motored mo-tored to Price Saturday afternoon for a Hallowe'en' week end party, given by the Price club. They were entertained enter-tained at dinner at the Country Club after which a most delightful evening even-ing of music, games and stunts and a slumber party at the high school dormitory dor-mitory was enjoyed. All report a very enjoyable week end. |
