Show CAR MISSES BRIDGE AT FARM CREEK Occupants more or Less Injured When Car Goes Over Bank. About 1 o'clock Sunday morning, Arthur and Delfa Averelt and Misses Miss-es Erma Wall and Elva Carrell were returning from the dance at Defa's dance hall at Hanna, and on reaching Farm Creek the driver of the auto missed tiie bridge and the result was a complete turn over into the creek. Probably the only thing that saved the occupants from more serious results re-sults was the fact that the creek is very narrow and the front of the car caught on the bank, saving the occupants occu-pants from being crushed beneath the car. They all claim the lights went out just before they came to the bridge but too dose to the bridge to stop the car. Arthur Averett had a bad gash cut In Ids leg ; Miss Wall had her knee ami shoulder badly hurt. tM1ss Carrel had three ribs broken. They were all taken to the Jep Thomas home and Dr. White was 'sent for. The t wo Averett Av-erett boys and Miss Wall came on to Duchesne that night. Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Foy of Duchesne. went up Sunday Sun-day and took .Miss Carrell to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital. |
