V, Osborn from Duchesne Du-chesne was visiting their daughter, Mrs. IeRoy Thacker, Sunday. Mrs. Tenuis Poulson was visiting her friends here Sunday . Conference was held here Sunday with a very good attendance. Mr., and Mrs. Rollie Thacker were Roosevelt visitors three days of last week. Many of the mothers were present. The children took their parts well. Mr. and Mrs. Chester I la rt man were called to Nebraska on account of Mr. Ilurtman's father's illness. The P. T. A. gave n dame October HO. The high school sold a nice warm dinner to the children at noon to help pay the excuses. It was quite well attended. Mir, and Mrs. Edgar Miles and Mr. and Mrs. Rolley Thacker motored to Irlce. Mrs. Ma tide Archelctta Is suffering with pneumonia at present. Mr. F. A. Thacker has built u splendid splen-did sheep shed on his place. Mr. August Pearson recently sold his cattle and range permit to Mr. Wilford MclVoukle. ' The Relief Society gave a social last week at Mrs. Rust's home. Miss Verna Reunion, who was operated oper-ated upon recently ut the L. D. S. hospital, Is Improving very nicely. Pat and his Patters are going to play. Every one Is welcome. Mr. Ruck Reunion and family went to Vernal on business Saturday. The L. D. S. stake conference will be held next Saturday, and Sunday, the ninth and tenth. Mr. John Rui'Vock was taken to Provo for medical treatment. There was a car accident a half mile above Mt. Emmons Sunday. Some of the young boys aud girls were Joy riding. The car seemed, to strike a rock and turn a complete summersault. summer-sault. Considerable damage wus done to the cur, and the passengers, though cut and bruised were not budly hurt. The car belonged to Roy Nelson. Evan Reunion and family are visiting visit-ing in Wyoming with his wife's sister. |
