Show I DUCHESNE 1 1 .' Mrs. George Kohl entertained at a delightful lawn party Monday i in honor of her daughter, Norma iRae. Eighteen little guests enjoy-. enjoy-. ed games throughout the after-! after-! noon, after which a dainty lunch was served. The birthday cake was decorated with eight candles. J Mrs. E. W. Schonian and Mrs. ' Roy A. Schonian were hostesses 1 and Mrs. Lloyd S. Pope and Miss ' Ethel Fouse, the guests of honor, at a lovely bridge party Tuesday ; aftrenoon. he rooms were beauti- fully decorated with midsummer ' flowers. McGuire, Mrs. Mary Connor, Mrs. I Nellie Muir, Miss Ethel Fouse, Miss Martha Page Porter, and Mis3 Mildred Stephenson. o H. S. Lldell, County Treasurer, made a business trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. Mrs. R. M. Pope left for Provo, Saturday, where she will visit for some time with Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Pope. She was accompanied by Larry Crocker. o Mrs. Roy Schonian had as her guest over the week-end, her mother, Mrs. Blanche Johnstun of Price. Charles Poole has returned to Duchesne from Fairview, Utah, where he has been employed for some time. Jeddy Pulley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen H. Pulley, left for Los Angeles, Saturday, where he will be the guest of his sister, Larue. Evan Jones of Cleveland, Utah, spent several days in Duchesne, visiting with Lewis Jones and Titus Jones. 0 Levi Muir and Mr. Cunningham of the State Road Commission made a trip through Duchesne County this week on official business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Owens of I Randlett, ;Utah, have moved to Duchesne and are located in the Lula Clark home in the east end of town. Mr. and Mrs. Willard DIckerson spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Dickersons parents, Mr. a'nd Mrs. L. Burdick, at Bluebell.' Marjorie Crocker returned this week from Heber where she has teen the guest of Doris Duke for tne past two weeks. |
