Foster, with her brother bro-ther Art Woods, and a friend Lee Seevers arrived in Duchesne Monday, Mon-day, after an all night drive from Paonia, Colorado and spent a few days with their mother, Mrs. Victoria Vic-toria Halstead. Dwight Wadlelgh, who has spent the past several months in Duchesne, Du-chesne, feft for Price this week. The Mesdames Margaret Porter, Emma Selch and Ollie Schontan motored to Myton Tuesday evening eve-ning to attend the regular meeting meet-ing of the Eastern Star. On their way to Duchesne a blowout came very near to causing an accident, but the ladles managed to keep the car on the road in spite of it's j erratic careening, and were incon- veniencea oniy oy tne aeiay. ijee Merkeley, Lotus Fisher and Eddie Carman gallantly came to their rescue, and after some difficulty over the spare tire, finally got the car in shape again, and sped the ladies on homeward, rejoicing oyer their escape. Heb Goff says he is grandfather of another big red headed girl, born to Mr, and Mrs. Lawrence Goff, Monday night. Mother and baby are reported as doing fine. |
