Show AUXILIARY MEMBERS ATTEND MEETING Eleven Auxiliary members attended the meeting held Monday Mon-day night at the Legion Hall. The meeting was conducted by Mrs. Phyllis Day, the unit president. presi-dent. Items of business discussed included the sale of receipe books as a money -raising project, buying buy-ing newspaper subscriptions to present to the unit's. two gold star mothers, Mrs. Rachel Wilson Wil-son and Mrs. Rocinda Anderton; the Americanism Essay contest, the poppy poster contest, and mention was made of the District' Dis-trict' Convention of the American Legion Auxiliary to be held in Duchesne Saturday, April 30. Attending the meeting were: Phyllis Day, Goldie Wilckens, Nina Merckly, Grace Bench, Pauline Brown, Carma Gunter, Maxine Burdick, Mildred Smith, Sarah Rasmussen, Donna Hansen, and Patty Burdick. DAIRY TOUR Dairymen from Duchesne County are invited to go on a party tour through Wasatch and : Summit counties Friday, Feb. 18. Interested persons are invited to get in touch with Lloyd Smith, agricultural agent at Duchesne for the Utah State University Extension Service, at his office prior to the 18th, or to be at the courthouse at 7:30 a.m., Friday, and transportation will be arranged arrang-ed The tour starts at Heber City at 9 a. m. |
