Show Rofarians Extend Visit When Gate Won't Unlock JACKSON, Mich. Warden Julian N. Frisbie, a Jackson Rotarian, invited in-vited his fellow members to the Michigan prison for lunch 125 strong. They chuckled heartily when the warden, in a preliminary talk, remarked re-marked that he held an advantage that would be envied by any speakernone speak-ernone ot the audience could leave. The luncheon over, the Rotarlans walked to the first inner gate one of four exits that had to be cleared. The guard fumbled at the lock of the big bronze barred gate. It wouldn't open. Locksmith employes of the prison got the gate open after working on it for nearly half an hour. A pin in the lock bad broken. |
