| Show stin t t 11 S NEWS r by thelma bush one ones of the main of the entire year now in progress at dear old T H S is the annual beard growing contest everyone of the male section whether they have only peach fuzz or a real beard is competing for the prizes which will be bought with part of the profit of the senior dance the con test was postponed for a few days as a result of tooele thoele s going to the tournament but now that that is in the past it is going in full swing among the beards which will receive prizes are the lanfest most unusual brightest colored and thickest plan for the sadie hawkins day activities sponsored bv br the seniors ars now under way this day will be on april 1st and the program is shaping up nicely among the ac tivi ties for the day will be two as sem blies one by the seniors and the other by the faculty a dance that night and contests through out the day nothing has been de aided definitely about the other activities but some of the eions included A stockade in m which everyone who does not dress up will be put until someone can paint him and generally make him look like the rest of the crowd an admission price to the dance consisting of a fee including the ticket and a sad ie hawkins marriage license and a marrying sam to officiate at such weddings as might take place there will be an assembly spon bored by the sophomores tomorrow with the theme of st patrick s day around which all of the numbers are planned all of the numbers were ready at the last practice and everything should go off as sched aled another event of tomorrow will be the annual lettermen dance A good orchestra has been obtained and it promises to be a big affair well it certainly has been brov en that there is an abundant sup ply of feminine charm around ye old tooele thoele high as was in evi dence at the junior women s club annual fashion show which each of the classes was well represented by girls modeling all the new s styles mrs annie kone entertained at a family dinner in honor of her daughter miss carol kone sun day family members were present |
