Munsey (shown) New Medical Clinic to b e Constructed On Site of Old Moab Ga rage Building An historic Main Street structure, the old Moab Garage is to be razed within with-in the next two weeks. Owner of the building, Dr. J.P. Munscy said preparations prepara-tions are now being made for the dismantling of the building. In its place Dr. Munsey plans to have built by July a modern medical clinic. Dr. Munsey said he is taking on an associate at that time and the new offices will provide pro-vide for them both. Coming to Moab. Dr. Munsey Mun-sey said, is Dr. Walter E. Stilson, his wife and year old child. He . is presently in the Public Health Service at Fort Duchesne and is expected ex-pected to take up residency here . by July. Only the north two-thirds of the old structure is going go-ing to come down. Dr. Munsey Mun-sey said. Sears will continue' its business in its present location. Tag-A-Long Tours and Travel Agency, on the other hand, will be relocating relocat-ing since it is in the portion por-tion of the building that will be demolished. Dr. Munsey's new medical clinic will occupy about 2509 square feet immediately immediate-ly adjacent to Sears. The large lot to the north, Dr. Munsey said, is up for sale and it is expected other plans a two-doctor medical tenter in its place. (T-I Staff Photo) businesses will locate there.
