Show Mr. and Mrs. Dennis McCracken First Baptist Church Ceremiy Unites Couple Here August 16 An altar flanked by pink and white gladioli and tall white candelabra was the Scene of nuptial vows exchanged ex-changed by Carlotta Jean Lomenick and Dennis Me Cracken, Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m., in the first Baptist Church, Rev. R. W. Carpenter officiated. Carlotta is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lomenick of Moab. Dennis' parents are Mr. and Mrs. William McCracken of Ft. Morgan, Colorado. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a vhite satin floor length gown, with a chapel train. The obdice was lace trimmed, trim-med, as were the flared elbow el-bow length sleeves. She wore elbow length mitts. Her finger fin-ger - tip illusion veil cascaded cas-caded from a white satin cap. Mrs. Gary Forbes, aunt of the bride, was Matron of Honor. She was attired in a similar gown of hotpink satin. sat-in. Other attendants were Bluesette Ossana. flower girl, and Jody Jackson, candle can-dle lighter. .They also wore gowns of hot-pink satin. David Williams was ring-bearer, ring-bearer, and John Jackson, candle-lighter. Gary Forbes assisted the groom as Best Man. Ushers were Bruce Davidson and Douglas Minion. The mother of the brId.- wore an Aline costume of double knit, and the groom's mother had on a pepper-salt pepper-salt summer suit with while accessories. A lovely highlight of the wedding was the bride's singing "Because" as she came down the aisle on the arm of her father. Her brother bro-ther David, accompanied rt the organ by Medele Knight . sang "Whither Thou Goost" and "Oh Perfect Love." A reception was held im mediately following the ceremony cere-mony in the fellowship hall. The table was decorated in the bride's colors of pink and white. The three tiered cake was garlanded with red roses, and was made by the bride's mother. Serving were , Mrs. Cecil Collier, Mrs. "Gresham, Mrs. Fred Konkel. At the guest and gift book was Miss Sheii Collier. . Mr. and Mj's. Dennis McCracken Mc-Cracken left Saturday afternoon af-ternoon for San Diego, where he is attending U. S. Naval training schools. The bride chose a pink costume decorated dec-orated with embroidery as her going away outfit. Out of town guests included includ-ed many friends and relatives rela-tives from Ft. Morgan, Colo. Friends honored Miss Carlotta Car-lotta Lomenick with a bridal brid-al shower Friday evening, August 8th.. at the home cf Mrs. Fred Konkel. The room was decorated in pink and white, colors of tht bride. The pink table was covered with a white lace cloth. The centerpiece was a lovely arrangement of pink flowers and tall candles. Th; cake was decorated in pink and white with a tiny silver umbrella. Guests had a hilarious time finding the groom's "Faults" and "Good Points" in a scrambled-letter word game, said Mrs. Lominick. Hostesses for the event were Mrs. Fred Konkel. Miss Sheri Collier, and Mrs. Ed .Ior.es. Guests were Mrs. Ceeil Collier. Mrs. Norman Boyd. Mrs. Richard Minton, Mrs. Ray Townsend, Mrs. lid Williams.
