Show BLM Advisory Board Meets The District 09 BLM Advisory Ad-visory Board held a meeting in Moab last Friday. The function of the board is to make recommendations and give advice to the District Manager on various matters within the district, especially grazing. District 09 generally includes in-cludes all of Grand County and the northern part of San Juan County from Kane Sprng Canyon north. The board is comprised of three cattle represent atives, three sheep representatives, and one wildlife representative. representa-tive. TwoMoab men presently present-ly holding positions are Tom Nielson, a wildlife representative; represen-tative; and George White, a cattle representative. Other members are Bill Cunningham, Cunning-ham, Lawrence Aubert. Em-mott Em-mott Elizondo, Dan Mcln-tvre Mcln-tvre and Loren Luster from the Grand Junction area. BLM personnel who attended at-tended the meeting were Robert Ro-bert E. Anderson, District Manager: Thomas A. Moore, Chief, Division of Resource Management: Doug Wood, Area Manager: and Anne Beeson, stenographer. |
