I'd Latham appeared Sept. 24 on a charge of shoplifting. He entered a plea ofguilly lo the charge and was sentenced lo serve o months in jail. He is also to submit to a menial evaluation by Menial Health authorities, who will report their findings lo City Judge Don C'risl on Oct. 10. On Oel. I, two people appeared in City Court on felony charges. David James Anderson, Elgin, appeared on two charges, one of possession of a controlled substance with intent lo dispense same for value, and one of producing a controlled substance. He advised ad-vised Ihe Court that he had contacted an attorney, and entered a plea of innocent to Ihe charge. A preliminary hearing in Ihe case was sent for Oel. 21 al 10 a.m., and his bond was set in the amount of J2.000. Phillip Fee Beeson appeared on a complaint charging theft during August of a generator belonging lo Grand County. He appeared with Attorney Harry Snow, and requested a preliminary hearing. This was scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m., and he was released on $2,000 property bond on the felony charge. |
