Show Park Visitation Outlined fj At Dead Horse Point il During the month of August visitation at Dead Horse Point totaled 19,122 persons, with 1,558 of those staying overnight, over-night, it was announced last week by Superintendent Mike Barker. Total visitors for the month of August in 1975 was 10,883, this represents an increase in August visitation of 76 per cent. For the year to date the park has recorded 96,893 visitors as compared to 57,660 visitors for the same period ( ' I during 1975. This represents I I an increase in visitation of 68 ' per cent. ' I The Utah State Highway M Department has completed the t last 7 miles of road construe- tion into the park.
