Show Court Drops Charges On Narcotics Raid Only two matters of a criminal nature were brought before Moab City Court during the pa.i' week. Judge Donald Crist i 'ported that charges against ag-ainst adults who were found at a party near the potash plant recently wer dropped. The charge, ag ainst all defendants, w.u being present where nur cotic drugs were being used. Attorney for the de fense, Frank Griffin, hf.d asked that proof be presented pre-sented and names of persons per-sons using the drugs be entered into evidence. T;i? 'County Attorney stated that the State was unabl to produce this evidencs rand therefore, the chrrgea were dismissed. On May 17, Donald D. Woodruff appeared before be-fore the court on a chjrgr-of chjrgr-of failure to stop at tl e command of a police nl'fi- . cer. He requested time to consult counsel and bosd was set at $750. He was to reappear on May 19, and was to enter a plea. Woodruff Wood-ruff was also charged with no valid driver's beense. He stated that he had an Oklahoma license and a check was being m.ide to see if that license was valid. |
