Show Collin A. Loveridge Dies In Highway Accident A one-car rollover fourteen four-teen miles south of Moab Tuesdav afternon claimed claim-ed the life of well-known Moab resident. Collin A. Loveridge. 5S. According to Highway Patrol Trooper Phil Barney, Bar-ney, the vehicle which Mr. Loveridge was driving driv-ing lost a wheel, causing it to swerve and rollover three times. Mr. Loveridge Lover-idge was thrown clear of the vehicle, but injuries took his life shortly after he was brought to Allen Memorial Hospital in the Grand County ambulance. Mr. Loveridge. a former for-mer Treasurer of Grand Countv . was office manager mana-ger for Keystone-Wallace Resources' in Lisbon Valley Val-ley and was returning to Moab from work when the accident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. Born in Moab. Mr. Loveridge Lov-eridge was the son of Charles Artliui i.nd Nora Priscilla Harrow Loveridge. Lover-idge. He was married to the former Donna Chris-tensen. Chris-tensen. who survives. He was a veteran of the 7th Armored' Division during World War II, serv ing two years overseas where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Moab F.Iks Lodge. Surviving in addition to his wife, are thr sons, Charles, Bogata. Columbia. Colum-bia. South America: Kirk A. and Richard Kim. of Moab; a daughter. Lee of Moab: and two sisters. Mrs. Grson (Margaret) Dalton. Moab and Mrs. Venice Sabini, San Francisco. Fran-cisco. Calif. Funeral services were pending Wednesday. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial mem-orial donations be made to either the Grand County Coun-ty Library or Allen Memorial Me-morial Hospital. |
