Show Story Hour Ends . . . Librarian Fern Harmon treated the Story Hour patrons to an ice cream bar on the last meeting. Miss Carol Oaks of the State Library atSalt Lake City brought down a film to show for the last meeting. meet-ing. Story Hour Princess has been Mrs. Judy Evans, Ev-ans, with the helpofMrs. Pat Quarenburg and Mrs. Marian Allen, who filled in for her when she could not be there. It was held every Thursday afternoon, after-noon, and has been much enjoyed bv the local small fry. Mrs. Harmon states that library participa- tion is increasing in books, records and pictures pic-tures being checked out. The library also has a good stock of current magazines, and these are regularly enjoyed by more and more people. One magazine, which has just begun coming to the library, deserves special mention, Mrs. Harmon feels. It is a music magazine, mag-azine, having instrumental instrumen-tal music as well as popular pop-ular songs and music printed. This should appeal ap-peal to some ofouryoung musicians. The first issue is-sue is available, and more will be coming later. |
