Show Local Happenings ( Marriage Announced Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Mrs. Marie Deakin and II. C. Huntsman. Hunts-man. The couple were married on January 27 at Elko, Nev. Bingham LDS ward Relief Society work day meeting will be held on Tuesduy, February 13 beginning at 10:00 a.rn. Figurine LaBranche and Father Thomas Navien were guests of honor, and officiated at the ceremony of exchanging valentines which brought the day's festivities to a close. Charles II. Bullock, 69, of Murray, Mur-ray, passed away Saturday at 9:45 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness. Among the survivors are: a son, Doug-li.s Doug-li.s E. Bullock; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ball and Mrs. Sarah Sar-ah Golish, and a brother, Clarence Clar-ence S. Bullock, all of Bingham Canyon. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Murray Second ward chapel. chap-el. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Bishop Klmer Anderson of the Murray Fourth wtird officiating. Interment Inter-ment was in Crescent cemetery. 1 o one o'clock luncheon was served to 22. A business meeting was held after which bridge was play ed. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Louise Bailey, first; Mrs. Elaine Brownson, second, and Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie West, bingo. B.C.O. hall was the scene of gayety last Thursday evening when the girls of the Senior Sodality So-dality of the Holy Kosary church conducted their annual Valentine day party. A group of twenty members and their escorts had an enjoyable evening that began at 7:.'W p.m. The party featured dancing and refreshments. Hostesses Hos-tesses in charge of the affair were Mrs. Rita Ugarte, Mrs. Anna An-na Mav Lovat, Mrs. Eva Guar-! ascio, Mrs. Louise Padgen, Mrs. I Julia Menna, Mrs. Caroline Mur-ano Mur-ano and Mrs. Genevieve Groves. Miss Bertha May Reed, 54, of Salt Lake .City passed away at j her home Wednesday at 7:55 p.m. of pneumonia. She was a sister of Mrs. Victoria R. Lyon of Bingham. and textile painting and picture making with Mrs. Lily Timothy, teacher; February birthday luncheon, lun-cheon, Mrs. Amy Johnson, chairman; chair-man; stork shower; lesson "Color "Col-or in the Home" by Mrs. Elfie Reid. Entre Nous club met at the home of Mrs. Verl Peterson on Wednesday evening. Mrs. Lenore Andreasou was an invited guest. Prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. Axel S.'jrowsky, Mrs. William Wil-liam Ablett, Mrs. Andreason and Mrs. Martin Prigmore. Dainty refreshments were eserved. Miss Colleen Creedon and a classmate, Miss Anges Homola, of Ogden, visited Sunday with Colleen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Creedon and family. Martha Circle met Wednesday as guests of Mrs. Mary Zaccaria 1 ot Lead Mine. In a holiday set-Iting set-Iting produced by a generous display dis-play of Valentine decorations, the youngsters spent the afternoon after-noon participating in a variety of games, not the least of which was a talent contest wherein I winners of various series were ' chosen 'on the basis of applause. Another item on the program were specialty dances by some of the members of the senior sodality so-dality who acted as very capable hostesses and mistresses of ceremonies. cere-monies.
