Show City Council Checks Work On Flood Plan Moab City Council members mem-bers at their Tuesday meeting, meet-ing, heard a report from Al Anderson of the firm' of Nielson and Maxwell, concerning con-cerning the possibility of gaining funds from the Four Corners Regional Commis-slion Commis-slion for prelimlinary planning plan-ning on flood control in this area. Mr. Anderson stated that he had been contacted by the Commission and asked to submit an estimate of cost for the preliminary planning plan-ning on the project. He said that if his costs appeared to the Commission to be in line, he will probably be hired to do the study. Mr Anderson has been working for Moab City and is familiar fam-iliar with the problems of this area. In other action, Byron Pen-rod Pen-rod from the State Safety Department appeared before the Council to demonstrate video tape equipment that can be used in crime investigation. investi-gation. The equipment may be used to film accidents and cases of DWI and then may be used in court.
