Show New circle tour brochure is now in circulation A new brochure, promoting the southern Utah, northern Arizona and western Colorado areas of the Four Corners Region, has just been released releas-ed according to Community Development Director Dixie Barker. The Canyonlands Region Travel Council will be distributing distrib-uting 30,000 of the "Great Circle of the Southwest" brochures bro-chures this week. The guide, in full color, is a complete paved self-guided tour covering cover-ing seven National Parks, six National Monuments and dozens doz-ens of scenic wonders in a 900 mile circle. 0. C. Caouette, chairman of the Grand County Travel Council and one of the principal prin-cipal promoters of the tour, said this week, "People have been amazed that in only 900 miles you can visit 20 of all the National Parks in the United States. And you can do it in comfort and convenience on modern paved highways in as little as seven days, if you wish." The tour concept was presented pre-sented early last year to a Moab group by Harry Gould- ing, operator ol Uouldings Trading Post in Monument Valley. Arizona Highways featured fea-tured the tour in its May issue, and the Utah Holiday magazine also carried a feature fea-ture on the tour in its summer quarter edition. Local travel council officials have been soliciting support for publication of the brochure-type guide by making slide presentations throughout through-out the tour route since last March. David Asay, Barker & Jor-gensen Jor-gensen Advertising Agency, Salt Lake City, produced the brochure and an accommodations accommoda-tions guide is also being designed to accompany mailings mail-ings from inquiries about the tour. Brochures are now available avail-able at the Moab Visitor's Center and local National Park visitor information centers. cen-ters.
