Show Heart Research Continues Against Complex Problems It is difficult to relate in personal terms to numbers in the millions. On the surface, statistics are cold and lifeless. The American Heart Association, which is dedicated de-dicated to the reduction in premature death and disability due to heart disease, is working in many ways to attain that goal. It is doing so through education, through screening pro- jects (Grand County Blood Pressure Clinic I held last week is an ex-I ex-I ample of this. 310 peo- ple went through the clin-. clin-. ic, 1 a minute) to bring I people with high blood pressure and- heart ab- normalities into preven-I preven-I tion and treatment pro-i pro-i grams.
