Department of Defense, died ; July 29 at St. Marx's Hospital in Grand Junction, after a lengthy illness. - 1 Born April 6, 1918 at Green ; River, Utah, Mr; Woverton ; spent a part of his childhood at '. Green River and Sego, Utah. '. He attended grade school and high school in Pafisade, and '. later lived in Fruita, Colo. He married Marie Adams of Palisade, and they; had four children, all of w hom survive. They are Sharon Kohls, I LaGrande, Ore.; Rita Foy, .- Moab; Nt -ville Wolverton, :; Huachuca City, Ariz.; and Dean Wolverton, Carlin, Nev. ; After leaving the eastern Utah and western-. Colorado ' areas in 953 te- went to Arizona. He returned to C Thompson in 1961 and moved to Grand Junctional! 1972. He was married in Moab on Dec. ; 29, 1968, to Cathrine Mow McDowell, who survives. Mr. Wolverton Served with the Atomic Energy Commis- sion in Grand Junction as a guard, and was employed at Fort Huachuca and at Davis Monthan Air ForceTBase, Ariz. Services were held Aug. 1 in Palisade, Colo., with burial in Fruita Memorial Cemetery. |
