Show Children's Drive Scheduled by Primary Leaders Once a year, primary officers of-ficers and teachers of the Latter Day Saints church makes a canvass, inviting anyone interested in the welfare of sick and crippled children to contribute two pennies or more for each birthday of every member of the family. This money goes to the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, one of the most outstanding children's hospitals in the intermoun-tain intermoun-tain area. This collection was begin in 1H22 ar.d h;vs grown from year to year. Many specialized services are offered through the hospital. hos-pital. The hospital infers extensive ex-tensive therapists work on crippled children and has an outstanding speech and hearing center. Those, plus many other services, including includ-ing an out patient clinjc art-available art-available thru "the hospital. The hospital also cooperates with the March of Dimes or, a Birth Defect Center. Patients pay for the services ser-vices they can. but if they are unable to do so. this money collected during :he penny drive pays for tlic needed .sen ice. This Monday, February 3 Clark IVFrioz and a member mem-ber of the Moab first Ward, Bishopric will appear on Moab Report on Kl'TV, Channel 6, to explain ,;s drive more fully.
