Show Fernando Gomez Studying at Grand High Fernando Gomez, 18 year old foreign exchange student at GCHS, was born in Mexico Mex-ico City and recently moved to Moab, where he is staying stay-ing with his cousin, Jim S.arten. He was attending the University Uni-versity of Mexico but the school was forced to closo because of riots. When asked ask-ed about these riots, he reported re-ported that Communist agitators ag-itators stirred up a sma group of students and thty rebelled. The Mexican president pres-ident brought in the National Nation-al Guard to control the students stu-dents and then all of the students rebelled because the National Guard was called call-ed in. Fernando has visited the ,U.S. for two mon'ths before ,this; when he stayed with his uncle in Missouri. Wiil in the U.S., he's getting get-ting an opportunity to exercise ex-ercise has English and learn about people here.
