Show liftoah Couple Attended Laymen's Seminar Mr. and Mrs. Paul I. Smith recently attended a laymen's seminar on the campus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. Nearly 3. (XX) persons from across the United States and Canada were guests of the University for the 4-day event. Featured speaker for the seminar was ORU founder and president Oral Roberts. Richard Rich-ard and Patti Roberts, the World Action Singers, and Reflection, regulars on the Oral Roberts half-hour weekly' programs and 1-hour prime-time prime-time quarterly television specials, spe-cials, performed for seminar guests. The seminar was one of several held on the campus this year. In addition to seminar guests, some 175,000 persons tour the campus each year. ORU is Oklahoma's number one tourist attraction, according to the Tulsa Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce. In addition to the 19 major campus buildings, the guests had an opportunity to visit University Village, a complete retirement center for 400 residents, established by the Oral Roberts Association and located adjacent to the campus. cam-pus. Oral Roberts University, in its 12th year, has an enrollment enroll-ment of some 3,500 students. ORU offers 29 majors on the undergraduate level and Master Mas-ter of Business Administration, Administra-tion, Master of Divinity, and Master of Arts in Theology degrees. |
