Show Baccalaureate Services Set Sunday For Grand High Class of 1970 Reverand Emil Balla of the Community Baptist Church will present the Baccalaureate Bac-calaureate sermon at the annual services held for the seniors graduating from Grand County ICgh School. 122 seniors will don tfieir rolx-s for the first time to assemble for the first of a long list of activities in honor hon-or of the Class of 70. Scheduled for ji p.m. in the L.D.S. Chapel, the Sunday Sun-day services will also host a large crowd of spectators including in-cluding families and friends cf the graduates Baccalaureate services ar3 a traditional part of the graduation week activities and providing a silent, spiritual spir-itual moment fcr serious thought by each 'individual senior. Also scheduled on the program is a vocal solo by a class member, Sharon Patterson, and a scriptural reading by Dennis Bailey, also al-so of the Class of 70. Prayers will be offered by Rev. Phil Hudson of the First Baptist Church and Bishop Ed Cozzens of the Mcab Second Ward. The graduating seniors will form a receiving line after the services to greet those who attend. |
