Show Msab Club Wins Award Clubs of the Eastern District of Utah Federation of Worn en's Clubs garnered their share of honors at the annual convention held May 2-4 in Park City. According to Mrs. Edward E. Drake, outgoing president, third place in the membership contest went to Green River Women's Club and second place to Helper Women's Chin The Helper group also won the Pennies for Art Painting along al-ong with a citat;on from GF-WC GF-WC for outstanding achievements achieve-ments in the field of art related re-lated to the youth of their community. In the Shell Oil Scholarship competition, Helper Hel-per Women's Club won first and Price Women's Club took third. In the Community Improvement Improve-ment Program, the Woman's Literary Club of Moab was awarded fifth place with z. prize of $50. Sears Roebuck Foundation, which sponsors this contest, stipulates . that the prize money must be applied ap-plied to the project for which it was awarded. Therefore, the $50 check will be presented present-ed to the Library Building Fund and matched by $50 from the government. Mrs. Drake and Mrs. J. Wesley Wes-ley Oliver, district treasurer, attended the convention, along al-ong with other delegates from the four counties of Grand. Emery, San Juan and Carbon |
