Show Devils Seek Homecoming Win Here Friday Moab seeks its second Region Re-gion Six football victory Friday Fri-day night at 8 o'clock, at the expense of the East Carbon Vikings. The Red Devils have an added incentive in that th'S game is Homecoming. Nine seniors will be playng their final game on the Moab turf and will be honored in ceremonies cere-monies starting at 7:40 p.m. Playing their final game for Moab will be Bill Manzanar-es, Manzanar-es, Richard Bohanan, Richard Green, Mike Raymond, Dee Ferguson, Kenny Nelson, Jeff Atwood, Mcl Walker, and Brent Jacobs. Moab will be using another different lineup for the game with several injured players returning and a new group on the sideline. Richard Green, out for two games, will return as will Chuck Zimmerman. The Devils wind up their season the following week at Blanding. Moab's Junior varsity var-sity ends their season thn Saturday at home. The JV's play Monticello at 11 a.m. at Mograndah field. T-BIRDS END SEASON The T-Birds of Moab Junior Jun-ior High culminated another unbeaten season this past week with a 26-6 win over East Carbon on the Viking field. The six points scored by the Vikings were the first surrendered by the frosh during dur-ing the entire season. Offensively Of-fensively they racked up 163 points. Coach Del Ford was able to use sixteen eighth graders this year with the frosh team giving him a nucleus nu-cleus of another outstanding team in 1969. |
