Show Grand County Immunization Clinics Set ! Mrs. Hanna Pittman, Grand County Health Nurse has announced the schedule of Grand County Immunization Immuniza-tion clinics. Oral polio, Dip-tet, Dip-tet, DPT, Typhoid, and Smallpox vaccines will be offered at nominal charges. Clinics will be held at the Courthouse. The first clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st; additional clinics are planned each month for four consecutive months. tMrs. Pittman notes measles meas-les vaccine will not be offered of-fered at the clinics, as it should never be combined with other immunizations. Oral polio need only be given to infants not previously prev-iously immunized, and to in-ifants in-ifants who received their first series before age 1. All others who have had their oral polio are considered immunized, and do not need boosters. Small-pox vaccine is given giv-en every five years. However, How-ever, if planning a trip into in-to Mexico, it is necessary to have been immunized within with-in two years. |
