Show fkinif Uml Grsds Collep Bound, Survey lndkofes A large percentage of jthe 1966-67 graduating seniors at Grand County High School will be college col-lege bound next fall, according ac-cording to a poll taken last week at the school. Out of the 100 graduates, gradu-ates, 44 have selected a college for fall enrollment 4 will attend Beauty college; col-lege; and 5 trade schools. Fourteen members of the class have other plans such as work, or marriage for some of the girls; 9 will enter the U.S. Armed Forces, and 19 are still undecided about future plans. Utah State University, at Logan, will receive the largest number of the GCHS graduates; 10 will enroll. The second most popular institution is the College of Eastern Utah, Price, where 9 students plan to enroll. Two will attend at-tend Mesa College, at Grand Junction; 1 the Colorado School of Mines: 1 Fort Lewis College, Du-rango; Du-rango; 2. College of Eastern East-ern Utah. Four ctudents will enroll en-roll at the University of Utah; 1. BYU; 1, Odessa, Texas, College; 1 Webster State: 1 Pocatello; 2 Snow College. One will attend the Alaska Methodist University, Uni-versity, 1 a business college, col-lege, and one student has been accepted at the U.S. Airforce Academy, at Colorado Col-orado Springs. Six of the students will attend some college, but have not finalized fin-alized plans. Commencement exercises exercis-es for the graduates will be helj at the school gymnasium gym-nasium next Friday evening, even-ing, May 26. |
