Arnid Bandit Gets Cash in Moab Holdup Ken Bertwell, Moab Lanes manager, was robbed of about $100 as he was leaving leav-ing the establishment at 1 a.m. Monday. Bertwell described the robber as a man with a young voice, of medium height and build, who stepped step-ped around the corner of Moab Lanes as he was about to enter his pickup. Bertwell, Bert-well, on seeing him, ran out into the parking lot but dropped the money when the robber said, "Drop it, or I'll shoot!" ( . He said he saw no gun, but that he was about 150 feet away at the time. Sherff Haskell Bowman later la-ter found a homemade mask in the area, presumably wo; a by the robber. Luckily, noted Bertwell, the cash total that night was not as great as usual. Mrs. Bertwell and children were in their car, parked at the front door of Moab Lanes, at the time of the occurrance. |
