Show though tfulness displayed through out the tea. We want to give these hardworking girls and Miss Harris our most sincere appreciation appre-ciation and praise. It has been wonderful to work and associate associ-ate with each and every one of them. A tea honoring the mothers of members of the Minerette club was held Thursday "evening at the LDS church in Bingham. Amy Miya MINERETTE CLUB NEWS In a very close race, the following fol-lowing girls were installed as officers of the Minerette club for the coming year: President, Jeniel Borcn; vice president, Carrie Vidalakis; secretary, sec-retary, Lucy Zanardi; treasurer, Nanette Santlstevan; historian, Denny Simkins; corresponding secretary, Marilyn Thorne. These girls are very capable, and under their able leadership, the club should have another successful year to add to their growing ago. The Minerette club closed their social calendar for the year this last week. A tea honoring the seniors was held Tuesday evening at the home of Patsy Creedon. A pan-tomine pan-tomine of a barber shop was demonstrated de-monstrated by Mary Jane Adams and Helen Zampos. Then followed follow-ed a very wonderful and inspirational inspir-ational talk bv Miss Virginia Harris, club advisor. Then Janice Jan-ice Hocking gave a piano solo; after which the junior girls dedicated de-dicated a short speech, corsage, and a diploma to each .senior Kirl. The centerpiece consisted of a bowl of blue and white daisies, white candles flanking the daisies, dais-ies, and a roll ibook of the seniors which was very decorative and daintily made. The committee to be complimented compli-mented on this wonderful tea are: Janice Hicking, chairman; Bonnie Skinner, co-chairman; Majy Jane Adams, Helen Zampos, Zamp-os, Marilyn Thorne, Joan Beard, Pat Ablett, Sally Brown and Janet Ja-net Boulton. In response for the senior Min- erettes, the teas were very well planned and wonderful. We were deeply touched with the |
