Show Inspiring ArmIstIce Day Program Given GivenA A very interesting and mg ing Armistice day program was given Juven Thursday evening at the hIgh school auditorium spon sponsored sponsored by the high school There was a large attendance of par parents Ent and friends The hIgh school band direct directed ed cd by L J 3 Castleton played a number of patriotic selectIons and the newly organized hIgh school boys chorus sang the marIne army and navy hymns Readings were gIven by Miss Ludy LeWIs and C E MItchell Leland D Heywood seating the American LegIOn was the speaker of the evening He called attentIon to the necessity for continued all out ef efforts efforts forts on the part of civilians m in support of all war activities Melvin Dalton Moab marine marme who IS home on furlough spoke interestingly of hIs experiences m in the marine marme corps and he praIsed Grand county for Its war work The audience led by Lee Stocks gave the pledge of allegiance to the flag whIch was followed by community singing |
