Show A C folster chairman and G W southwick lck secretary of the grand county branch of the american red cross on tuesday sent a requisition to the pacific branch for additional red cross flour and a large amount of cloth which will be distributed in grand county to allay distress resulting from unemployment two hundred eighty barrels of flour or 1120 bags were ordered as well as 1800 yards of cloth the cloth consists of 1000 yards of prints and ginghams yards of shirting and yards of outing flannel the requisition was made as a result of a survey of the county conducted by relief agencies of the churches most of the cloth will be made into clothing by the church relief agencies and distributed where needed iam the flour it Is estimated will be sufficient for a 90 period during recent months the red cross has distributed tri buted hour to it Is estimated that approximately that many families will need additional flour soon and that 70 families will need clothing |
