Show TO PNEUMONIA ATTACK mrs olive rolley 22 wife of roy S rolley ot la sal died at the local hospital monday at one 0 clock following an illness of several weeks duration mrs rolley recently underwent an operation and was improving satisfactorily when pneumonia developed causing her death funeral services were held yesterday from the L D S chapel and were attended by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends from moab and la sal many beautiful floral offerings attested the esteem in which the deceased lady was held by the two communities the services were opened with prayer by P M shafer and the speakers were amasa aldrich W R mcconkle and bishop W D hammond several hymns were rendered by the choir the closing prater was offered by george A newell and interment was at the moab cemetery mrs rolley was bom july 29 1909 at Cast ledale the daughter of mr and mrs james H of la sal who survive her she was married several years ago to roy S rolley she Is survived by her husband parents and a son kent about two years old and the following brothers and sister truman wilcox colorado arden and cleo wilcox half brothers and sisters who survive are mrs hattle blevans and edgar wilcox moab ephraem wilcox nathan and irvine day and mrs anna armstrong la sal henry walco ic salina quint wilcox and william wilcox las vegas N M the funeral services held yesterday were attended by many relatives and friends from la sal and other out of town points mrs rolley was a graduate of the grand county high school at moab she had numerous friends here who are deeply shocked and grieved at her untimely passing the genuine sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved husband parents and other relatives |
