| Show RIVER DRY RAILROAD MUST DRILL A WELL for the first time in history the price river at woodside is completely dry and it has become necessary for the denver rio grande western railroad to drill a well there to supply its trains with water for years the rio grande has operated a water treating plant at woodside where water has always been plentiful from the price river in the past this year however the extreme drought has dried the river completely up and another source of water must be developed to meet the demands of the railroad the well will be 70 feet deep and will be cased with 48 inch concrete pipe work on the well started monday mrs ann mcbeth son clyde and daughters marjorie and jean of payson are in moab relatives mrs mcbeth is a daughter of mrs clydla ann taylor of moab |
