State Publishes Manual on Junior High Work Work of the junior high school Is outlined In a manual just issued by the st state te school offIce It It was prepared by Lotter Lofter Bj Bjarnason state te supervisor of junior high high- schools and grammar grades In the public schools After defining the junior high school as that divisIon for public schools in which education edu- edu cation ends gradually and secondary secondary dary education begins graduallY Professor Bjarnason explains the objectives to be achieved cl classifies the schools In which these tives may be achieved and points out the features of the work to be accomplished Then follow chapters chapters' on programs of suggestive teaching procedures procedures pro pro- the state ourse of study tudY and use of the prescribed texts classification of pupils and standards standards stand stand- ards of scholarship teacher qualifications quaIl quaIl- and standards f for r Ings and classroom equipment Regarding the booklet booklet- State Superintendent Su- Su Dr C C.
