Pet White Rat Upsets Decorum on Pullman Oar Car When a Union Pacific limited train pulled into Salt Lake on Sunday night there were several hysterical women in one of the cars They hastily left the train and stood dood in an excited group on the platform It took the colored porter to dissolve the mystery this way he said Just as we were coming into Milford I hears a loud scream Ladies are up on seats and for fora a time I dont don't know what it is isaU aU all about Then I sees a little harmless white rat He is causing causing caus caus- ing all the trouble I chased him awhile and V then hen he finally left the train in disgust Seems one of the ladies had smuggled him aboard in a pasteboard box and ho he got hungry and gnawed his way out They said he knew a lot of tricks too but he didn't have time to do any of them then
