Show V i, i INTERNATIONAL AIR PARCEL POST Announced this week by Earl T. James, postmaster at Bingham Canyon post office, air parcel post service has been inaugurated inaugurat-ed to the following foreign countries coun-tries as of September 4: Argentina, Argen-tina, Bahamas, Bolivia, British Guiana, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guate-mala, Haiti, Honduras (Republic of), Nicaragua, Salvador, Surinam, Surin-am, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay Uru-guay and Venezuela. Air parcels are subject to the same limitations as to size and other conditions as are applicable to international surface parcel post. The parcels may be registered, regis-tered, insured or sent c.o.d. to countries where such service is now in operation. Same postal forms (customs declaration, dispatch dis-patch note, international parcel post sticker, etc.) as are required for surface parcels must be prepared pre-pared in connection with air parcels, par-cels, and in addition the blue par avion label must be affixed to the address side of the package, and to the dispatch note if the country of destination requires a dispatch note. |
